About Me
Biography
Ertan Tutam was born on August 24, 1981 in Istanbul. After graduating from Marmara University Electrical Program Vocational School, he graduated from Kocaeli University Electronics and Communication Engineering. He worked at Toys”R”Us and İnka Computer companies on Server Systems in his professional life. First in the network area, Superonline Iletisim Hizmetleri A.S. he started as a NOC Specialist in . In the following years, KocSistem Bilgi ve Iletisim Hizmetleri A.S. he continued as a Network Engineer, Senior Network Engineer and Network Technical Team Leader. He first started his managerial experience at TurkNet Iletisim Hizmetleri as the NOC Unit Manager. After 11 months, KocSistem Bilgi ve Iletisim Hizmetleri A.S. as a Network Field Specialist, he undertook both consultant and sales duties. Currently, Ftnet Bilisim Hizmetleri A.S. he continues as a Senior Network Specialist in the company. He provides network and security consultancy, data center network migration, network and security healt-check and network and security device installation services from his current company.
He is constantly improving himself technically by participating in various trainings in the fields of network and security.
He attended various Network, Security and Server Systems trainings to contribute to his professional development. It also has certificates from Cisco, Juniper and Fortinet vendors. Since the companies he works with are integration companies, Cisco, Juniper, HP & Aruba, Fortinet etc. It can provide installation of vendors' devices and support both remotely and on site.

Latest Projects
The projects that I have done recently and which have a great impact on the customer are listed below.
Migration work was carried out from Cisco ASA Firewalls in locations to Fortigate Firewalls. In addition, the Switch and APs in the LAN structure of the edges were changed.
Pulse Secure NAC operating in a redundant structure was installed and configured. Both wired and wireless networks and IOT devices are secured with Pulse Secure NAC.
The old model Cisco BackBone and Access Switches in the factories were replaced with the new model Cisco Fiber BackBone, Copper BackBone and Access Switches.
Work was carried out on the data center infrastructure of our customer, who left the holding. A new Network, Security, VPN and Load-Balancer design was created in the data centers (mani and DR sides), and the necessary installation steps were carried out within the scope of the project.
Network design and installation works were carried out for the cargo and maintenance buildings at the airport where the customer provides cargo services. It has been transformed into a redundant structure that will not be affected by network interruptions.
Due to the inadequacy of the network monitoring software used, a transition to a new network monitoring software was carried out. Customer-based network integration was made.
A new data center was designed and installed for the Disaster Recovery scenario. DCI design and connections were made with existing data centers, and DR service was provided for all customers.
Router and line redundancy studies were carried out. PBRs were written on the routers for active use of both lines.
Routers with EOL and EOS have been replaced with new model routers. Replacements were made by leading the field and installation teams.
Works were carried out to monitor VoIP Network infrastructure. Technical procedures have been established for the interventions of operations teams.
Security configurations were made on network switches to prevent DHCP Snooping and ARP Poisoning attacks in order to ensure network security.
